WHY HUSKIES?

Insight- A Fun and Beautiful Breed

The proud and spectacular Husky, like every other dog, has unique perks as well as some not-so-perky attributes, but there are countless reasons why Huskies are the perfect companions to someone interested in a pet. Huskies are known for being loyal dogs, non-aggressive, and pack oriented. A pack oriented animal loves to be part of a family, so Huskies fit great with an owner or family that will love and treat them well.
Huskies are exceptionally good around kids because they won't be aggressive in any way unless they are provoked. Huskies are affectionate and loving dogs, but they also have relatively high amounts of energy so there's always something interesting to observe when watching them interact with new experiences. Most Huskies love the water, and can be trained professionally to help save lives in certain incidental situations. Huskies can also be trained for sled pulling, because the breed's strength and endurance is among the top 10 in the world, which is one of the primary reasons they were originally bred to pull and compete in sled dog tournaments. Some things to consider when wondering about adopting a husky into a new family is that they need space to move around and burn off energy, or daily walks to help give them time to exercise. They need to be watched and taken care of properly-often if a Husky dog has been injured in any way, the owner won't notice because Huskies like to be on the move and won't always stop and pause if they're hurt. Every Husky will shed minorly year round, but it will become heavier in the spring.
Huskies enjoy being outdoors and can often build relationships with any tolerable animals around them, such as other dogs or cats, which is convenient in household's with more than one pet. These special dogs have big hearts, a strong loyalty to their family, and a love for affection and fun, so they will always offer something amazing to their owners in their own unique ways.

Reflect on how the puppy will fit into your home, and make sure you are feeling certain about the new addition to your family. If you have any questions at all, don't hesitate to let me know.
